Joe Klimchak, the Pittsburgh Pirates in-game host, spoke to RHS students on Friday, April 8th. He shared his "Average Joe" story about resilience, perseverance and going after your dreams.

RHS students designed and built a robot to compete in the Lego Sumo competition at Freedom Middle School on April 5th. Students programmed the robot to knock the other robot out of the circle just like you would see in Sumo Wrestling.

The team consisting of Caleb Kendra, Seth Sorell, Logan Greer, Ronnie Harper, and Zane Stoker finished in 2nd place out of 14 teams. Also worth noting, another Riverside team finished in 4th place. Mya Ormand, Isaac Menendez, Kamila Crespo-Vargas, and TK made up the 4th place team.

Come Join Beaver Counties, Reality Tour and engage in a drug and alcohol prevention experience that caregivers and youth (age10-18) can attend together.

The Riverside Elementary PTO is seeking new or gently used books for K-8th grade reading level. Books can be dropped off in the middle school or elementary entrance area through the month of April.
