Come out and enjoy a night of school spirit and fun on August 23rd, 2018! During this year’s celebration, the ROAR Foundation will be dedicating the new field house located at the stadium. Gates will open at 6:00 pm – We hope to see you there!
The VEX Robotics Design System offers students an exciting platform for learning about areas rich with career opportunities spanning science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). These are just a few of the many fields students can explore by creating with VEX Robotics technology. Beyond science and engineering principles, a VEX Robotics project encourages teamwork, leadership and problem solving among groups. It also allows educators to easily customize projects to meet the level of students’ abilities.
We are excited to announce that Rachel’s Challenge will be coming to Riverside. The date of the High School program and community event will be Monday September 24, 2018. The date of the Middle School program and community event will be Monday, October 1st, 2018. The community/parent evening programs will begin at 6:00 PM on both dates. This year the student parking packet will not be mailed home, instead we have posted all of the usual information and forms here. Please see attachments for more information. Registration times for parking permits will be as follows: Seniors - Tuesday, August 7th, 2018 – 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 – 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Juniors - Thursday, August 9th, 2018 – 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 14th, 2018 – 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sophomores - Wednesday, August 15th, 2018 – 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, August 16th, 2018 – 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Riverside Beaver County offers a full-day Pre-K Counts 4-year old program provided during the school year. Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts offers eligible families quality preschool at no cost to help children learn the skills they need to be ready for kindergarten. The Riverside Pre-K Counts program offers a highly qualified teacher and teacher aide who have experience working with young children. We offer a small class size and a curriculum and learning activities that help children thrive. In addition, parents are provided with information throughout the program regarding the child’s progress and development.
