MEGAN ZELCH - January Student of the Month!

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Seniors Kassidy Schlemmer and Jack Miller were selected to represent Riverside at the District Chorus Festival held February 10-11 at Sharon High School. The students rehearsed and performed with a choir of 160+ students from across District 5.

Riverside High School will be hosting a Winter Dance on Saturday, February 19th in the High School Cafeteria from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. Tickets are $10.00 pre-sale during all lunch periods ($15.00 at the door). All guests must fill out a guest form from the main office. This is a semi-formal event.

Noah Zelch - December Student of the Month

Riverside students from Mrs. Frank's English classes and Mrs. Sprague's art classes enjoyed a field trip to see the Maxo Vanko murals in St. Nicholas Church in Millvale. Sponsored by the Light Initiative, the trip let the students take in these amazing murals painted by a Croatian immigrant in the early 1900s. They took part in discussions about social injustice, immigration and the use of art and symbolism as a form of expression.
