The PA Department of Transportation received notice that the contractor will begin the Route 65 Bridge over Connoquenessing Creek Replacement Project in North Sewickley and Franklin townships. Starting at approximately 6:00 AM on Monday, September 21, Route 65 between Country Club Road and Mercer Road (Route 1006) will close to traffic around-the-clock for 33 days until Saturday, October 24. Advanced warning signs were placed on September 4, with digital message boards anticipated to go up closer to the closure date.
