The return of Christmas break means it's time for the offices to begin prepping for the next school year, believe it or not! Guidance offices will begin creating next year's master schedules. It's a great time for students to begin thinking about what they plan to take next year, even though the registration process won't begin for several weeks. Guidance counselors and principals are making adjustments and will begin informing students soon!
In addition, February 1st typically marks the opening to kindergarten registration and this year will be no exception. We've appreciated the patience of new parents the last few years as we've implemented a completely automated registration process. Riverside also welcomes a new registrar, Mrs. Kathie McHale, into the district-wide enrollment position. Look for updates posted on this website within the next few weeks regarding when and how you begin the enrollment process for your 22-23 kindergartener.
Pre-K Counts information will be coming soon as well. The PA Department of Ed sends new applications to school districts during the first week in February. Look for the new applications at that time. Pre-K Counts is a tuition-free preschool program for those children who are 4 years old by September 1, 2022 (but not 5). The next few weeks will bring many updates for the new year!!
